Giving Back
Fundamentally, we love making a difference.
That’s what drives us to do the work we do. However, we believe it shouldn’t stop there. We might be a small team, but we have very big hearts. And giving back is really important to us. That’s why:
Giving time and energy to volunteer can be hard with the super-busy lives we lead. However, it’s a really valuable way to help individuals and communities in need. That’s why we are committed to giving at least 5% or more of our time to volunteering. In 2022-2023, we exceeded our target – volunteering 180 hours, that’s just over 5.5% across our team (this includes our permanent freelance staff too!).
That’s why we always substantially discount our management fees for all charities and not-for-profit organisations.
We are committed to donating 10% of our profits to deserving causes. Depending on the charity or project’s needs, these are given as cash donations; equipment; volunteer hours or discounts.
In 2022-2023, we were proud to support Lifeways (a natural health charity), Molly Olly’s Wishes (supporting children with life threatening illnesses and their families), Stratford-upon-Avon Food Bank, Rubbish Friends (a local volunteer litter picking charity), B Lab UK and Bardsley Youth Project (supporting young people (age 16-25) in Coventry who are homeless).
As well as this, we also take every opportunity to champion the causes we care about. Nothing is closer to our hearts than sustainability. We love to share the knowledge we have gained and learn more. We’re always looking for opportunities to take part in discussions, debates and speak on sustainability. And we’re open and accessible to individuals and businesses that need help to improve their social and environmental practices.

A place to feel safe: Caroline’s chosen charity
Bardsley House has always helped young people – including me. When I was 15 it was my Friday night local youth club. A cool place where I could meet friends, listen to music and just be with people my own age. It was safe and under the watchful eye of our great youth...
Giving back by Jess: Dreaming of a foodbank free future
The foodbank is doing a great job. However, they continuously need support. That's why I decided to donate my 'giving back' profit-share to them. Times are hard for everyone at the moment with the increasing cost of essentials like food, heating, rent and bills....
